A Vinculum Care innovation

Dementia 360™ is an immersive VR training experience that transforms how caregivers and families understand, communicate with, and care for people living with dementia.

That belief is the foundation of Dementia 360™. We don't just teach tasks — we cultivate the empathy that makes person-centered care possible.

Why Dementia 360™ works
Immersive VR simulations recreate the sensory, cognitive, and emotional challenges of living with dementia — so caregivers understand before they intervene.
Train caregivers to validate, redirect, and de-escalate common dementia behaviors like sundowning, repetition, and anxiety without increasing distress.
Whether you're a family caregiver, healthcare partner, or part of our Vinculum team, Dementia 360™ builds the shared language that improves outcomes.
Every insight from Dementia 360™ feeds into a care plan that honors the individual's history, preferences, routines, and remaining strengths.

Who Dementia 360™ is for
"For the first time, I understood what my loved one may be experiencing every day. The training changed the way I communicate and provide care."
— Dementia 360™ program participant
Dementia 360™
To someone with dementia, the shower drain can look like a hole in the floor. That is why they stop at the bathroom door. Why they push the caregiver's hand away.
Most training calls this combative bathing and teaches staff to manage it. It isn't combativeness — it's someone protecting themselves from a fall they believe is about to happen.
Dementia 360™ puts our caregivers inside that bathroom in virtual reality and lets them see the floor the way your mother sees it. Once a caregiver has stood there, they stop arguing about the shower and start solving it.
"Once a caregiver has stood there, they stop arguing about the shower and start solving it."
Inside the training

How the training works
Written by a registered nurse and taught in our Port Huron training center, not licensed from an online vendor.
No caregiver reaches a dementia client without completing the program.
Caregivers come back for scenario sessions as the condition progresses.
The training is why we can staff 24-hour and late-stage cases other agencies turn down.
